Psp Game Trick Articles I got my PSP 3000 right before Thanksgiving, and I have to say, it’s pretty great. I had an old PSP 2000, or PSP Slim, which I traded in at GameSpot to get the 3000. It was well worth it in my opinion. The screen on the 3000 is much brighter and clearer, which is amazing when I watch movies on it. I’ve also noticed that it’s much easier to play the PSP 3000 outside in the sun, due to the changes made to the screen. This is especially great if you use the PSP to entertain you between college classes, like I do.
The battery life of the PSP 3000 also seems to last longer than that of the PSP 2000. The battery pack is slimmer, but on average, I can play for around 8 hours without having to recharge my new PSP 3000, while I could only play my PSP 2000 for around four hours or so.
Also, the new additions to the firmware make it tons superior. There is free internet search integrated into the firmware, which uses Google by default, so you don’t have to set Google as your homepage anymore. It also includes access to Skype, so if you’re near a WiFi point, you can use your PSP 3000 as a phone. The free internet radio is also pretty cool, and has about 30 stations you can choose to listen to, from Country Music to Rap to Rock and Roll. All in all, I’d say I enjoy my PSP 3000 for the great screen and battery life, and the extra features it throws in is just icing on the cake.

Psp Game Trick Articles WALL STREET, by CE Software, is a stock market game using the stock market as its vehicle. In the designer’s notes section of its rulebook Donald Brown, the author, says “Any similarities between it (WALL STREET) and real life are largely coincidental”.
While written with tongue in cheek the statement is, none the less, true. WALL STREET isn’t much of a simulation of the stock market; rather it can better be described as a game which uses the stock market as its vehicle. The game involves buying and selling of stocks on a simulated stock market made up of thirty stocks. The stocks are divided up into six areas: computer, entertainment, oil, automotive, retail, and appliance. The names of real companies are used. For example the computer stocks are Apple, Tandy, IBM, DEC, and another of the gigantic computer mega corporations, CE Software.
Most traditional stock market games are built around buying on margin or on selling short. WALL STREET uses the latter approach. Selling short involves selling stock that you don’t own. They really do that on Wall Street folks! The trick in “selling short” is to sell the stock when it is high and deliver the stock when it is low. What the player is doing is trying to make money on a stock that he feels is going down in value. Another important element in the game is the buying of information. There are five levels of information gathering.
Each level is five times more expensive than the previous level and increases your chance of getting secret market information by 10%. The highest level gives a 50% chance of picking up information and costs $6,250 per week. The next lower level is 40% but the cost is only $1,250 per week.
Is the 10%, increase in chance of getting information worth a five fold increase in cost? Most of those with whom I have played the game think not. The 40% level is the most popular level. After playing the game several times I believe that the program sets up patterns for certain stocks. I am somewhat tentative in this statement exists, they because of the fact that if the pattern are subtle. For example, in a recent game we noted that one particular oil stock seemed to lag one day behind the others in type of action. If the other four changed from an up day to a down day the stock in question would make the same change only do it a day later. If you find any patterns in the game please drop a note to CGW. I’d like to read about it.
One of the best features of the game is the ability to list the day’s stock quotes on a printer. This has two advantages over viewing the quotes on a CRT. First, you must flip through several “pages” of the daily report to see all the stocks on a CRT. Second, hard copy allows you to get a history on a stock.
Wall Street made me feel very rich at times and I also had taken a lot of losses, it is a good game if your into all market investing topics, I will give this game 1.5 out of 5. It’s a technical and difficult game to understand for a fun loving gamer.

PSP Game Guide Articles “Downgrade Psp?” you ask, what the heck is that? Well if you have had your Psp for a little while now you might have heard of a downgrade or downgrading you Psp. When referring to a downgrade you are talking about returning your PSP firmware to an earlier version which has exploits that certain smart people could take advantage of, in this case we are talking about firmware version 1.50.
When Sony found out that there were exploits that could enable people to play games that weren’t released by Sony themselves they released Firmware Updates (this was known as Upgrading your PSP) in the hope that this would make PSP users only purchase Sony UMD Games and Sony UMD Movies. Much to the annoyance of Sony once they started releasing firmware updates people started to try and find ways to hack the firmware so they could return the PSP back to a 1.50 which would once again allow them to play other games.
These other games and applications are known as “Homebrew” and are developed by programmers who want to release these games and applications free of charge to other PSP users around the world. This is the big attraction of a PSP Downgrade and is why people take the risk of downgrading their PSP. Currently there are 100’s if not 1000’s of homebrew games and applications available to download for free. Not only are there homebrew games available for the PSP user who has gone through the PSP Downgrade process but there are also 1000’s of “old school” games that you can play on you downgraded PSP, games like Donkey Kong, Mario Brothers and more.
“So can you downgrade any PSP?”, well at the time of writing you can downgrade any PSP that is firmware version 3.03 and below, this includes PSP’s with the TA-082 motherboards which up until a short time ago were not able to be downgraded with ease. Once you have found the appropriate software to downgrade it, make sure you follow the instructions exactly as they are printed. If you do not follow those instructions exactly you will again brick your PSP. Once you brick your PSP your only option is to get it Mod-Chipped which would cost you around $100 or use it as a rather expensive paperweight.
